Well here it goes i guess my first superjet and i get a bare hull pole and hood from SURFJUNKIE (thanks by the way) and have to put it together from a bare hull but i guess its not that bad thats why its a project but im making everything stock till its complete then riding it then ill upgrade it so please save the just upgrade to a 701 or 760 ect besides that go ahead and talk

Well as soon as i got it home i started working on it so i started by taking off all the ripped turf and prep for footholds and putting on the nose piece and bumper

a 650 with footholds is still betta than a kawi!!!!:nana:

good luck on the build. im sure you will learn a lot on the way and be hooked like the rest of us soon enough.

that hull looks pretty cherry.

and now i can finally try a yamaha never have so i will see how it goes if i like it im def selling the kawis and getting yamahas

I would have taken a reliable 650 square over all my kawi 650's anyday.

They are great starter skis but are easy to outgrow.

it was a bare hull i picked up a 650 motor for cheap untill i found a 701 i got the 701 the other day outta a waveraider i got for 80 bucks i still have 650 motor as a back up

ok now i got my waterbox from carterb and that took forever to find a routing that would fit in the squarenose but i think it will work

and now my pump i painted came out pretty good and thanks to jetmaniac for answering my 100 questions and dealing with me while he was putting my driveshaft and bearings in cause i couldnt lol but he like how my pump looked and slapped his sticker on lol

the mortor is just about ready to drop in got my new starter in the mail and popped it on checked the compression one more time before i put it in

just put the pump in and the mid shaft in and aligning the pump wasnt really that bad to do thank god lol im making my stator unplugable so i can put the ebox in and organize everything all the wires and crap still need a manifold and thinking about a jetmaniac motor i really want or buying another sn proly the JM motor but idk

so i got the motor mocked up today and in the ski its no officially in but pretty damn close still gotta pull it back out and make some changes to my ebox for the stator connctor im making

Well the engine just changed again ha 718 jetmaniac motor with ada head amd hopefully ordering the b pipe to go with it this week or next cant wait for it toooo come

Why don't you get CarterB to weld an elbow on his custom waterbox at an angle to clean up that exhaust outlet routing.
You are going to create problems there with more power.

You better get some padding under the waterbox. It will rub a hole in both the box and hull.

Good advice! I have seen holes rubbed right through hulls by waterboxes, bpipe chambers, even hose clamps. Also the hull can rub holes in carbon waterboxes and chambers.

Yea I have everything out and putting turf in there it was just mock up but yea ill ask him on the elbow or I might grab a xscream box for it idk yet
