I recently bought a 95 SJ and started working on making the ski more cosmetically appealing. In doing so when removing the old hydroturf I have found that my tray is cracked right at the seem where the floor meets the sidewall. Researching on the X, I am not sure on how to approach the repair. I have read I should most likely cut the tray out and do a de-foam/re-foam to rid the ski of waterlogged foam and while I am at it, I should potentially widen the tray and/or install footwells. I am extremely new to stand up riding and am completely inexperienced with glass work. All this being said, I was hoping to receive some feedback from experienced riders who have been in this situation before and what recommendations you might have to determine what efforts I should put towards my ski (what mods I should make, if any) and any recommendations/suggestions to ensure the work is done correctly.
