96 B2 Gauge not working

The fuel and oil warning lights on the gauge cluster on my B2 blinks and does show low fuel and oil even when both are full. So the cluster works. Im thinking the float sensor in the oil tank is bad (I have the float zip tied in the up position) as well as the sensor in the fuel tank. Or would it be some other issue?

This ski is mainly for friends and family to ride so I prefer they are able to monitor at least the fuel level.

What we used to do on sitdowns when we converted to premix was to loop the wires from the oil level sensor, solder them together , whatever , this made it read full at all times and not set off the winky blinky .

I am having a similar problem with my B2's fuel gauge. just reads one green light. Im going to check this.

WFO Speedracer, is the yamaha oil pump really that un reliable or is it just the lines that go bad and then people have a problem?

take it out and clean it. Fixed it on one of my B2 back ups, still does it look for a used replacement. I assume you have un plugged it and re set it.
