96 SJ carbon fiber rideplate questions/handling questions

Hi guys, new to the site and only been riding for a couple months. Bought a pretty decently modded 96 SJ for my first ski and have been riding it 2-3x a week since the beginning of June. It has blowsion destroyer sponsons in the front, I replaced the UMI steering with a Blowsion OVP unit, and it has this strange carbon fiber rideplate that has no markings and looks like its maybe custom made(see picture). I took it off this morning to check things out and it is shimmed in the front with two washers and it looks like someone clearanced some material out for the pump and the steering arm for the nozzle.

I've been having some stability problems when I pin the throttle and let it rip in a straight line, it wants to wobble around and feels unsettled, almost to the point of wanting to buck me off the damn thing. It handles awesome other than that. I ride with a couple dudes who have been ripping for years and they say my ski is twitchy and they feel like it wants to buck them off. I have also ridden a couple other RN superjets and they don't wobble(some with sponsons some without)

My questions are:
-does anyone know what rideplate this is
-why would you shim a rideplate in the front, all I can find is people talking about shimming the back
-has anyone else had similar problems and what did you do to fix it

6'2" 195 lbs rider

Appreciate it
