Custom/Hybrid A/M hull with stock pole

Not having any luck finding pics. Maybe there arent any.
Is there anybody out there running a stock pole on an a/m hull?

I cant really see the point in spending $700+ on a pole.

I had one on my rokr. It was so dam ugly but it got me on the water. I ended up going with a rrp later.
