Surfriding a/m yamaha ebay starter relays?

has any1 ever bought an used those cheap 12 dollar starter relays off ebay? if so did they work well or crap out after a month? need to replace the one off my blaster cause i ganked it to get my sj runnen

Ive bought both a relay and starter before and both crapped out very quickly. OEM is tge way to go.

You should be able to grab one like that from a local parts store or farm store for less. It just a generic starter solenoid. I've never tried one on a superjet but worked ok in a x2

They are crap , unless you are just looking for something to get you on the water for the weekend look elsewhere

I got one of these and it worked for only TWO starts then it crapped out. I contacted the seller and they sent me another because of the warranty, then that one crapped out almost immediately as well.... don't waste your time.

I have a couple OEM's here on the shelf. Add $25 to other deal we discussed and I will cram one in the box for you.

my cheapo ebay one has lasted a year so far

but based on the above i would still go with an oem

It's not like an OEM relay is very expensive. Why skimp?

Are you talking about oem stock relays in regular ignitions or the msd type relays for total loss?
