ADA Dome Size??

I have some domes shipping out on monday. I ride at approx 4500'-6000' of elevation. It seems like I remember reading somewhere that there would be +/- 7psi for every 1,000' of elevation, can someone confirm this for me?? If not, what would it be? Or maybe a link on how to calculate it. I've got 31cc domes ordered, which based on the +/- 7 psi would put me around 180 and safe for pump gas. If I need to change it to 33cc, I can.. Feedback would be appreciated. ThX!

I'm at 5,000 and have found 33's are around 170-175 and 31's are 185ish, 190 my boat pingd on 91 so I like the 33's better cause pump gas can vary from station to station and there could be some 85 left in hose from the guy who used it before you

X2 on the 33's. Many other factors that effect it. 31 I think you will be on the edge? Make sure your jetting is on. I just detonated my motor with 33, of course it was do to many problems one being an air leak and going lean. What's your setup and what jets you running? Where in Utah are you? I am in Utah county.

I ended up going with the 31's. I talked to tech support at ADA and Chris from Jet Maniac, they both felt I'd be ok on pump gas. I checked the compression, in my garage here in Payson, I got 184/185..
I ran it last week at Deer creek (approx 5400') and it was solid.. I'm gonna run utah lake hopefully this weekend, we'll see how it goes, hopefully no pinging...

I probably should of mentioned that my compression gauge when checked against other gauges has read 3 psi or so high.. Based on 7psi per 1000', I'm at 4700', 4.7 x 7= approx 33.. 31cc domes at sea level should be at 215psi.. 215-33=182... The numbers are spot on...I guess the real question is, am I pushing it in terms of pinging... I guess I'll find out!
