adjustment screw help

My adjustment screws(on top of the manifold) are not coming out...are they corroded in there? They have been in for about 2 years. I am having some B-Pipe over heating issues and was told to unscrew them and stick something in there to see if there is any debris.

How do I get them out? Any tricks?

squish em in a vice or weld a nut onto em and turn em out - good idea to heat the area around the screws first

Yea I did think about torching them and trying it that way....I don't weld! lol

alooooootttttttt of heat and sharp vice grips work. but dont plan on savein the screws

How hot should an engine be after riding btw?.... should you be able to touch it or what?

We here at X scream carry Factory Pipe adjuster screws for anyone closer to the east coast.

Make sure you re-tap the threads before you put new ones in and use anti-seize. I would also replace with P-Diddy's BK Twisters which are longer and have a T on top for adjustment with your fingers - makes them much easier to get out of they get stuck too.
