Ahead of the curve

Some of you know here who I am, some here have met me , some here have ridden my skis, some like me some don't , that is ok I am not here to please you are anyone for that matter. Somewhere back around 2006 I came up with the idea to convert a 300SX into a freestyle ski. The mostly pro Superjet crowd here scoffed and laughed and told me how terrible an idea that it was.

I did it anyway and time has proven me correct, I was ahead of the curve on that one, Now there are builds all over the place , a dedicated Facebook page for 300SX conversions, the Bob and the AMP has come and gone and people are still busy converting 300SX skis for freestyle. That little green 300SX was the Godfather of all those builds.

Except the Flat Deck!!!!!!!!!!!

No I defiantly wasn't the first on the flat deck, it has somewhat become a signature feature on most of my builds though, the next couple will not be flat deck I enjoy riding a variety of different types of skis.

I was a lot thinner too , it was at the Smith lake ride, you rod de the yellow ski and fell off, you came back in with it dragging you behind it , in your defense though that Yellow ski is a total PITA to reboard in deep water, I can do it early in the day late in the day it's a maybe at best

Derick at ski clinic was the onl one that used the 300sx as the temple for their freestyle ski.
