Airport to Hotel shuttle

Cab fare seem to be ridiculous from Orlando to Daytona,....so can anyone recommend a bus or shuttle company that runs from the Orlando airport,...as well as from the Daytona airport? Maybe the cab fare wouldn't be bad from Daytona airport so if you have experience with that I'd appreciate hearing it as well. I don't have definite flight plans yet so I am not sure which airport I'll be using.
Rental car is a possibility but seems pointless to have a car there as my probable hotel choice is very close to the Freeride. (I'm sure you know La Playa and Grand Seas are both sold out!!!)

I just booked a room at La Playa today. Have you called? It said sold out online, but I called and they had rooms.

Awesome. Thanks guys. I will call La Playa and/or Grand Seas as well. I was going by what it said online so maybe I still have a shot. Jetmaniac has posted recently that La Playa was sold out as well,...so hopefully more people will try calling if there is still rooms available. I was checking out Daytona Beach Resort which seems to be like a building or 2 down the road so I was just gonna take a little walk down the beach to get to the Freeride. Hoping to meet people and party it up a little so I figured the walk would help clear the hangover and wake me up a lil!!
I am trying my best to make it down but I plow snow so if it snows I'll have to cancel (ONLY reason I'm waiting until last minute)

So basically if I back out, it will be 60 degrees and sunny here with no snow,......but if I book now and make definite plans,....I'll probably get a 3 ft snow storm the day of or even worse the day after my flight!!!
Hate to be so pessimistic,......but my luck AND past experience have proven that it ALWAYS happens :mad:

Where do you ride anyway? I'm in PA right across from Trenton (5 minutes but yet worlds apart!!) I usually ride at either the Falls Twp boat ramp or Neshaminy ramp in Croydon, PA (Used to use the Trenton ramp but it got costly and Falls is 5 minutes from me. I'd be willing to take a few trips to South Jersey though this summer if you do ride in the DE river? CHerry Hill is only 1/2 or so from me. Let me know and keep in touch.

Thanks Carm, appreciate that! When I want to stay local, test skis, I launch out of Pennsauken right next to the Betsy Ross Bridge. Other times, I'll ride with a few guys on the Rancocass creek. Other times, I'll hit Corsons Inlet, Ventnor, Brigantine, or Herford Inlet. Feel free to hit me up this season, we always welcome new people to ride with.

Another option is to rent a car. Orlando is one of the most competitive car rental markets in the country because of all the tourism and conventions in orlando. Renting a car is almost as cheap as other options and maybe you can get someone else to share your ride. Definately be much quicker and more convenient.

Don't worry we are still at the Seas, keep that ski looking good. It might have to go inside the banquet room friday!

Fusion what company did you use? Going through Expedia my best price was almost double that so far. I may have a ride depending on when I arrive and what airport I use but just in case.

Still not 100% Don,.....but it's looking better every day!! Just worrying about getting snow here and having to cancel and lose my flight money. I think if I buy through Expedia they offer a $40 insurance that "says" I can cancel once "for any reason" without penalty,....but I am doing research on it more before I trust that claim. Not sure what the time frame to cancel/switch flights is and their outsourced phone help was useless. I will be looking at the terms and conditions soon. Look forward to meeting you and talking shop!

Also, when does FW Friday start? Was going to get a shuttle if I come in Orlando but maybe Ill get a car since prices aren't much apart and Ill stop by before I get my room.
