Hello do my pump alignment today on my oem superjet 2003 hull but I still need too much shims for it.
I installed the pump and the driveshaft was too deep no problem.
Aligned it with the cold fusion tool but at the end when it fits perfectly I needed 8mm shims in the back of the pump. Don’t know why but with less than this it’s not aligned perfect.
So do the engine alignment and here I need between 4 and 6mm on each motor Mount. Know it’s a perfect alignment but never hear from somebody who needs do much shims
Could there be any problem with so many shims between the mounts and the engine ?
Don’t find any reason why I need so much but it is not possible to align it with less than that
