Freestyle Almost rode one out!

If my motor didn't die I could have rode this one out. I think I'm still going too fast, I'm going to try to slow it down when I go out tomorrow. I'm so pumped I've made this much progression. Up until yesterday I only tried a few flips here and there and I was being a huge vag about it, yesterday I finally man'd up and grew some balls and tried about 20 yesterday and about 10 today. I feel like I've made some huge progression in two days. The weather kind of sucked today, it was really windy and choppy, you can't tell in the video but there were actually small white caps and it made it kind of hard to time my wake.

Yeah form looks good. But i think you can get a lot bigger with better setup wake and approach :) Maybe pull harder ind the bars and squat more down, when going in the wake, to give more rotaion when kicking or streching out (but other than that, your body position looks really nice) good job :)

Thanks for the kind words. Christian I totally agree with you, I've been trying to squat more as I'm going into the wake. I'm also not the greatest at making a set up wake yet, I'm working on improving that so I can hopefully get more height too.

Chad - guessing thats your name, im no pro rider. In fact just recently got my first clean fw flips done and taped
dont know if it helps any

But what i did, was did 10 runs/flip attempts, when going a little further from the U or C wake that i made before turning and approching the wake.
Then 10 where i would make a less "wide" U or C setup wake and try that.
The one on video (first i got on tape) was one, were i did a "narrow or less wide" U wake and turned around pretty fast. that way you cant get time to go to fast into the setup wake. Simply turn around, blip the throttle to pre hop (sink the back off the ski and load the pump) squat as you hit the setup wake, full trim and trim WOT. arch your back and look back (as you do very nice, better than me:) and pulls bars to the stocmach and extend your legs :)

Are you going WOT when you hit the setup wake and flip? Sounds to me like the engine isnt revving up in the bottom and getting on the pipe?
 
Thanks!! You guys are right, my motor was not getting on the pipe. I found that if I rode it around and cleared out the water box it hit hard instantly. Today I was going to add some washers to my Jetworks restrictor, only to find out that it was barely screwed together, so it wasn't putting any pressure on the spring and wasn't restricting anything. I screwed it together and it made a big difference, gets on the pipe instantly and hits like a freight train. Now I just need to get used to it, I'm still not very good at making a set up wake and I still need to get better at blipping the throttle and keeping my water box cleared out. Here are my attempts from tonight, looks pretty sweet with the sunset in the background I think.
