Hey guys,

Almost sank my ski getting towed back this week. Now my ski won't start. Need to flush is badly. I pumped tons of water out of the intake. Seems to be dried up now. nothing coming out of the head with plugs out while cranking. Brand new plugs. Just won't fire. Ebox seal was a little loose. If box gets wet am I screwed? Battery is full. I have spark. New plugs. Cranks, but just won't fire. Please help.

Crank, clean the plugs (water, blow dry), repeat. After a while it will fire, maybe once, kept cleaning. Primming helps, it will delute the water.

Starting fluid has zero lubrication an is a bad idea. Put premix in the plug holes an try. Did it hydrolock? May have sheared the woodruff key. What's compression?

If your going to wait until tomorrow, I would first clean the whole ski, engine, everything with fresh water, then dry with hood off, then douse her down with wd 40. Next remove the plugs and spray into cylinders and piston areas, as well as remove carburetors and spray into manifold. Clean carbs out while you have them removed with a little fresh water, then dry then spray down with wd 40.

pour it down the drive way, light it on fire, and scream ANARCHY!

but seriously siphon or just pull the tank and dump it into a empty gas tank. let the tank sit upside down for a bit so the water drains and pour in some rubbing alcohol to absorb the water then pour in fresh gas. its fine to have a little bit of rubbing alcohol still in the tank when you refill.

be sure all the water is out of the motor, you can flip the ski upside down by yourself. sometimes ill start the ski with 1 plug out as to blow out the remaining water. but it will only start if you hold it WOT. give it a couple blips then shut it down. put in the other plug and flush it for 20 min then go ride!
