Freestyle Amps for starter

Anyone know how many amps a starter draws? The protection circuit kicks in on a new 20Ah Lithium battery I am trying, even when starter is tried while out of the engine. Starter works perfect with 20Ah lead-acid battery

My anti gravity 16 cell starts 1200cc @225 cranking compression, starter is drawing 260 amps during cranking.

I've since switched to a new OE starter and I can tell its drawing a little less because it was able to crank in 50 ish degree weather without pre heating the battery like had to before. Haven't re-measured current draw but it's still up there.

If your saying it can't even spin the starter to do a bench test the starter that battery has issues

Looking at the LiPo spec sheet, it shows 20A continuous and max pulse current of 40A for 3sec, so not suited to my application
