Pretty much what was said above. Klotz is better. My powervalves didn't like amsoil. Alot of sludge.

My powervalves froze up with Amsoil Dominator at a leaner ratio than R50. I think Amsoil and VP fuels dont get along. I am a supporter of Amsoil and have ran it in all my vehicles and mx bikes for years, but for the ski I have to go with Klotz.

Im a klotz user but riding buddy uses amsoil. Both seemed fine so far. Dominator is thinner and for "race" r50 is thick and gooey.

Guys it says right on the packaging of Amsoil. Dominator is for NON-PV "Race" engines, and Intercepter is for PV engines. Dominator doesn't have much for water inhibiting/longevity oils. I fog if my engine sits for more than a week, or I start me engine and run rich if I know it's sitting for a few days.

I've got almost 4 seasons of Dominator in my SXR 800 since new, using 12-16 gallons a season. Had very little carbon build up last season when I pulled the head.

I'm sure dominator protects your cylinder well, but it wasn't designed for marine use or constant exposure to moisture. Look on the back of the bottle, it specifically says not recommended for outboard motors(aka motors exposed to moisture alot). Yes I suppose you could fog your ski after every ride, but I'd rather not.
I switched to klotz skicraft after I found that out,and since my ski was on a lift above the water back then. It's meant for skis with the additives it has for corrosion/rust protection.

I have actually read the opposite about techniplate through a google search. I'm not sure what's right though.

Just Googled it, and @McDog, klotz doesn't say anything about additives in super techniplate, but they do in the ski techniplate. Didn't realize skicraft was techniplate. Were you saying you've heard bad things about corrosion and rust with skicraft?
