Every now and then I come up a little short on my Barrell rolls, and it puts a lot of strain on my right ankle. Was thinking about trying an ankle brace out to see if it helps. Was wondering if anyone is running one or had any recommendations? Broke my collarbone last year trying to keep this one injury free!

I use the Mueller lace up type that you can get at Walmart or any sporting goods store. You can tighten them as much as you want and they are thin enough so that you can put your foot in your riding shoes. They are basically made of a cotton canvas material, just like Converse shoes are made of, so they dry out fairly quick too.

Might have to give those a try I was looking ,at some ones for MX but was worried they would be to bulky to fit nside my wrestling shoes.

It's Tony's fault really. These skis don't like to go underwater. I underrotated on the pro at Florence and compressed my spine and broke both ankles and legs and hips and shattered both heels and rode it out like a boss

Went to good old Wally world and got an ace ankle support with built in splints. It's super comfy forgot it was there after 5 mins of riding and my ankle has never felt this solid. Sure enough underotated a couple flat water BR's and didn't feel a thing!
