haha , i dont know how that comment was meant to be taken but why waste time posting to a question you have no answer to?
i heard the hurricane was a very sporty ride and handled and jumped well. i wanted to know if that was accurate.. if its not then i wont consider buying it.

thanks for the info wave demon. if that is the consenus i will stick to looking for a Blaster. i just figured maybe there was lack of info on them on this site because they were rare.

Rode a hurricane for a few years. It was the nice ski. It did porpoise but cornered and jumped well. Its a little more stable than the blaster and can ride two people but If I were to do it again, I'd just get the blaster.

i had a buddy that had one a couple of years ago wasnt bad in the surf flat water was a joke with the porposing. there really isnt alot of parts for it. my buddy had a fp blaster mod pipe with octane adapter and 750 zxi carbs on it with stock throttle shafts. boyseen reeds, intake grate. ski went pretty good but you need to take a piece of plywood and screw it on the back

They have a lot of really nice features that the Blaster doesn't have (mirrors and gages among other little touches like trim tabs). I had one once and didn't ride it much, but I would much rather have a blaster (a lot lighter, more mods available, a ton of more parts available in genera, and more reliable).

I hate the mirrors and guages on it. I think Bruce Wolford's looks good. If I had one I hould have to spend a lot of cash to maybe get an ADA big block in there, sculpt the seat and get some trim tabs. I bet it would make a good surf boat.

thanks for all the comments. im real tempted to take a shot on it, but the parts and aftermarket problem has me hesitating.. maybe the Blaster is the better choice. hard to find one in the northeast though.

damn, I need to save more money in the bank for when great deals come around.... Because even if you don't want something I feel like I gotta jump on it...
