Any room cancellations???

I'm at the makai. I read their reviews online though, I think i'll be packing 16 cans of lysol, some bleach, a sleeping bag and a roll of plastic to cover the room with.

the makai and driftwood are kinda of rough places but they put up with us the staff are very cool, even the old people that stay there are nice, they look forward for us coming , so you clean up the room a bit we are dirty jetskiers, party time, we had the superjet in a million pieces last year by the pool no one even said a thing, my kind of a place

Considering just about every room is left with 3" of sand in the bath tubs/ floor and towels left worse than shop rags ( well that IS what they are for right??) after we all leave .....

Not my tub... With the amount of hot water I use to warm up after riding, I could probably flush the waste station. lol

Keep digging man. There are plenty of hotels right around that area. Some are shadey and others are nice but they're all within a 5-10 minute walk. If you are sending your ski with someone, you'll be able to leave behind the Makai with all the others.

only problem i ran into is there having a cheerleading comp there that weekend.. But I found a room! At the LA PLAYA
And I hope them cheerleaders come to the beach.

I just cancelled my room at the Coral Beach. Had a non-smoking ocean front double booked 1/14 - 1/17.
