Custom/Hybrid Anybody have any experience with floating mats

Im looking for a way to tow my skis behind my boat so im not always riding near shore and annoying the neighbours. Had an idea of putting the skis on a floating mat and towing that.
My concerns with it thou are the durability of the mats. Are the intake grates going to chew up the mat. Also the stability of them. Never been on one so looking for someone who has to answer these questions.
Just a thought i had as to looking for a solution to tow and the mat is easy to roll up and store away.

My roommate and I had a liquid force floating mat....it was sick! Mad expensive, but lots of fun. We had like 6-8 people on it often.

They are pretty durable, but they will definitely get scratched by intake grates and stuff. The dogs would always jump on ours and nick up the mat with there nails. But you could always put something between the ski and the mat like turf.

@Bunny hop man has Been trying to figure this out also.

I use "wavepads" for one of my biz. And they are super durable. Not that expensive. And diff size options. That might be an option.
