Other Anyone else disappointed with the quality of their new Jet Pilot products?

So to start off, I've been buying jet pilot products since I had a JS300 and I was seven years old. (Actually my parents were buying them for me back then....thanks mom and dad) Lately though, I'm really disappointed with the quality. I've bought two pairs of reflex shoes which have fallen apart. The first pair last me a season, the newest pair didn't even make it through a whole season. My buddy bought the same shoes and had the same issues. They replaced his and the new ones are coming apart again as well. My jet pilot gloves ripped in less than a season as well. The palms split right out of them. My old JP gloves lasted me 3 or 4 seasons. It used to be that JP vests were 100+ dollars, but they lasted. My newest vest that I got just doesn't seem like it's the same quality JP used to be. Is anyone else feeling this way or am I the exception to the rule?

Also, what gloves and shoes are everyone wearing?

Slippery for me... I had a deal with the local yamaha shop a few years ago and got new gloves, boots, and a vest from them every year. BUT they got me Jetpilot stuff. It rarely lasted until my next set so I had to go back to my slippery stuff to finish out the season. I don't think slippery stuff is as good as it once was either but still better than the JP stuff. I really like the looks/style of JP but can't afford to buy it 2 times a year.

i wear walmart shoes......cheap. does the job.

X2 Walmart Allstar knockoffs, $15 and they last at least a year. I have never used JP riding shoes but I have heard poor reviews for them before. I use a Jet Pilot vest, which has gone the distance and doesn't appear to be slowing down so far. My JP gloves last at least a season also, however the velcrow that holds the wrist closed tends to work less and less through out the season.

My Jet Pilot gloves lasted 2 rides before they started coming apart. Absolute garbage. Slipperys were usually good for a season. I've got SixSixOne gloves now....so far so good.

I have asic wrestling shoes that are now on their second season. Not even a thread has come out. My JP gloves lasted almost one season then the finger split and the Velcro went to crap. My JP pullover vest (non-neoprene) is on it's third season. It is badly faded but is holding up like a champ.

ride shoes suffer more than most + the jp and slippery shoes are crap to start with
im a all star wearer and the hold up way better and grip better and color match @ a fraction of the price
jp has always had a fade issue and a thread comming loose issue even in the t shirts
i still love them though !
other than my chucks im decked out in jp

yeah i have to say that my Nike Shocks didnt make it a hole season either. they were nice on the landing though. whatever is in the closet that i hardly wear will be next. if it looks that good its cheap.
