SX/SXi/SXi Pro Anyone have video of a 750 doing a backflip or barrel roll..?

Ive been wondering this for a while, but have never seen any footage. Does anyone have a video of a 750 doing abackflip or a barrel roll? I imagine its very possible to flip it off of a huge wake and skill..

There was a flat water BF attempt posted a week or two ago. nosed in but was pretty close. I have came pretty close to BR on mine but I dont have the skillz yet. I will post a vid when I finally get around.
750's will flip/roll but it takes a whole lot more power/skill/wave than a SJ or other lighter ski

How/why?
Seen one rolled/flipped of single & double wakes and surf just fine. Mild motor and no bigger waves/wakes than what a SJ would need.

Being that he's from Ohio and I'm from MO we dont get to ride in the surf, we are stuck to the ponds and rivers lol
Im not saying it cant be done by any means, just that it will take some more skill and some work on the ski since they are bit heavy and lacking the low end in stock form. I'm obviously not a kawi hater but I do realize that a SJ or A/M hull is easier to flip. Im pretty sure a good rider could jump on my ski and flip it with a decent wave but its not going to happen anytime soon with me riding it.

A 750 is not heavier than a SJ. In fact, whitca's was quite a bit lighter than my SJ. A flip is easy in the right conditions, and not one chit is given whether it's a SJ or 750 hull - they'll perform the same (Off big wakes and waves, fw off your own setup is a different story - but I think SJ's are probably just as hard to fw flip as 750).

I think we're on the same page, I prefer my kawi over a SJ. I was just saying kawis arent as easy to stunt (thinking flatwater since I'v never had the chance to hit the surf)
Pretty sure this thread as left topic lol. On a side note my hull was 160lbs with hood, pole, turf and holds. weighed it when I had it stripped for paint this winter

Modded stocker would do it, there is a whole lot that can be done to help flip a ski besides going to a huge motor. BR's can be done with much less. I ride with a few guys (one girl) who can br nearly stock skis

what motor in an sj does it take to do flat water flips?

There was a video on this forum about someone flipping a stock SJ hull with a fairly small, old school PV motor (800ish cc)
I think most people would need something quite a bit bigger than that.

Thanks Matt, at least someone gets it! I do have to say there is a big difference in the weight and handling of a Pro hull and a SX/SXI hull. I'm still working on flips and rolls myself, but I see no advantage that a SJ would have over my SXI, its just skill. With the right wave or rider any ski will flip!

Agreed,

Isnt a kawi 750 around 329 lbs and a roud nose is 290lbs

Don't think so.

Besides, find me a Roundnose that actually weighs that. Most of them have 30lbs of water in the back.
