Anyone ridden a PowerSki Jetboard?

Looks pretty fun. 55hp 45 lb motor. 195 lbs total weight.

I don't see anyone pulling a backy on one, but for big surf it would be sweet.

I never have but I'd like too, especially in the surf. They've been around for years (at least 10) and have never seemed to make it on the market. As a matter of fact I've never seen one that was privately owned, only in trade shows as demo models

I had two of the old-school Surfjets that I just sold.

They are super fun on a lake.

I'd love to see someone ride them in big surf.......

Robert Montgomery,had alot of trouble w/ earlier motors,(check out the engineering)
But it didn't stop him from selling the prototypes, and pissin' people off. (distributors)
There's another version of a powered surfboard, (rotary) www.xboard.com.

IMO They would be a fun toy w/ limited use.
