Anyone ride dirtjumps?

Just wondering if anyone on here rode dirtjumps/park/4x, dual slalom etc.

I have not but I would like to give it a try. I road bmx about 15 years ago and would love to try it on my mt bike.

Bobbyd, take a look at Specialized P1, P2, and P3 bikes.

I ride a 24" Free Agent BMX occasionally. Dirt is a lot harder to fall on than water though, and my skills are not that great.

i used to dirt jump/build dual slalom type trails allot...

had the original enduro sx built up really nice and the original p3 for my hardtail...

wish i didnt sell the enduro..the original sx's were better than the new ones...less travel and steeper head angle...that thing was on rails...

I raced 4x, DS, and DH in college. Got into BMX for a while too. Mostly just freeride xc these days. My DS and bmx bikes are wall ornaments. bobbyd - Haro makes a nice steel frame DJ bike that isn't too expensive. Probably the route I would go if I had some dirt jumps or a pump track close by.

i rode lots of dirt when i was younger.
competed in dual and downhill and rode dirt for fun.
that was a long time ago.

with age comes wussness. damn afraid of getting hurt haha.

I used to do Bmx racing, freestyle/ dirt jumps, I also raced DH, XC, and 4X. Working in a bikeshop burnt me out on the sport. Now I just ride skis. I wish we had a bigger dirt sene here in Vegas but we have crapy dirt and no rain so jumps are far and few between. The best jumps I've ridden was at Ricardo Lagunas house. I rode at TJ lavits house a few times but then he made the jumps to big. His rollin was two story's tall and the first jump was like a 40' gap. No thanks. Biggest thing I've ever hit was a 33' gap on a mountain bike.
