i've always kinda wanted one of those boats they had at the end of Speed 2 where the ski's dock into the boat hull itself...then they just un-dock. Freakin chick was stupid for unlocking the bad guy and not herself...ofcourse he's going to catch up!

i have a shuttlecraft and a 96 waveraider 1100 and i go 40 easy on smother stuff but if it gets rough i got to slow down to like 25-30 and just cruise. thats with 4 peeps in front and just me on the ski. its really not that much drag once you get on plane.

Obviously I don't have your knowledge #0, but thats the very first thing I thought of too.
Just seems like quite a load to put the engine under.
more load = lower top speed, slower to get on plane. of course its a load on the engine but its all about how fast you want to go.
i have put the trolling motor on the shuttle and let my brother fish around the lake with that while i went skiing.
less load than pulling a skier up behind ski without shuttle. Once on plane only the back about 2-3 feet are in the water anyway.
Its not something you go out and try to crank hard ass full speed turns in like when on ski by itself. that would be stupid. its a shuttlecraft, aka shuttle people food beer extra gas from the truck/dock(load stuff before launching) to the party beach/riding area so there is no carrying heavy stuff and more choices of beaches we jetskies can go party at.

What about the strain the engine is taking the entire time. As with anything with a load it will start to heat the engine up more than its been designed for. IMO I don't think a 3 person ski is designed to take the load of 1+5 and a hull almost 3x the size.
Such as a minivan carrying a large trailer, sure it COULD do it no one doubts that, and the direct result is that it would be slower. But the transmission is going to heat up and you're putting added stress on the engine that it wasn't designed for, unlike a large truck which has been designed for exactly that load.

it does put a "load" on the engine but im just going to have to get a video camera to show its fine. and the extra weight size "load" would create more stress on the engine jus tlike say boring stroking high compression heads exhaust intake would put more stress on the stock components.. Right?

I don't doubt it works. Lol I've seen those things before, I'm just thinking down the road how good it is to do it.
I know if you tow 1 jetski with another or try to push a boat, the jetski needs to cool down every once in awhile as its getting too hot and doesn't have enough water cooling it.
But yeah stock components never like too much of that stuff.
