Super Jet anyone try the cold fusion hood hooks / prongs?

On my RN, I have WDK hooks on the hull and factory yamaha prongs on the hood. I have an issue where the front edge of the hood snags my hood seal when the hood is being put on, which squishes it up and makes a sub par seal. I was considering trying out the below and was curious if anyone has used them?

What type of bracket are you using. Send me a pic of that. I just recently had the same problem that is now resolved.

The hood prongs are adjustable so it might help you out.

Im just seeing this now and I wish I looked at it before I responded to your PM.

My issue can forth when I installed my RRP bracket with out the "supplied" lowered hooks. I bought my bracket second hand so I had no idea.

Nornally the hood hooks attach directly to the hull, as with your bracket and the stock bracket. With the RRP bracket, the hood hooks attach ONTOP of the bracket. Therefore, the height of the RRP bracket was taking away from my downward pressure on the front with the hood seal.

STEVE PWC sent me the RRP hood hooks for FREE (Total hook up, your the man) and it resolved my issue. The lowered hooks allowed me to get enough downward pressure to create a nice good seal with great pressure of the front of the seal.

Went riding today and water injection was at a minimum. Thanks for all your help guys.
