Anyway to remove a SJ prop without special tools?

Just curious if anyone knows how to change a Sj prop without ordering the special tools. If ordering the special tools is the answer then I'll order them.

Order special tools.

Or, cut apart a midshaft to use as a spline holder. You still won't be able to get std Solas or Skat impellers off.
