If I were you, I'd put footholds on a ski.
Might not work well on a sled.
But whatever works for ya. :bigok:

Foothold preferences will vary from person to person. I liked the WDK footholds for a while and now I can't stand them. Regardless of what you get, make sure they have plenty of room in them for AT LEAST 1/2"-3/4" of padding above and below your feet with shoes on.

I have the EME footholds in my ski and I absolutely love them. Have had them going on 3 seasons now and not a single problem. My only advice is to pad and turf them so your foot fits tight into the holds. If you want to see what they look like in my ski you can see my build page.

Where in MI are you located? Where do you ride?

They suck, look at how Eric rides, you can tell their no good. J/K Its all personal preference, try them first or guess it up to you. I have put two different sets in my ski and still like others better than the ones I have. I cant stand the waterdawgs btw, they freak me out being on my leg up that high.

I would recommend looking into some tom21 foothelds. They are made for big feet or adding thick under padding. Tom is an awesome seller and the price is pretty good as well.

I was hoping to see pics of those holds turfed. Can you post a couple of those? I only saw a couple pics of the holds just bare in the ski.

I just in the middle of installing the EME holds into my ski, they look like they are going to work awesome! Like smusleh said they are big and need turf on the inside but I like turf in my holds anyways. I would recommend them to anyone.

XFT holds for me, I tried water dogs in someones ski and they killed my feet.

I ran WDK holds for three years and initially really liked them.

Towards the end I realized that they are not ideal for my riding style. I hurt myself a couple of times with incomplete or over-rotated rolls.

I want to install my first set of footholds and was thinking about Erics, REVs with enclosures or Tobys footholds. I know alot of it is personal preference but any input would be great.

i had WDK revs in an old 750sx, and put EME's in my superjet, and i liked the EME's much better. almost an enclosed style hold, and i like that about them much better. they were also way easier to install than the WDK's.

get Erics holds and dont look back. By Far the best out there and they are proven best by a number of championships. Who else out there really knows footholds other than Malone himself.

Wdk Will break your ankles

Eme holds are easy to work with too.
