Chuckie of TeamScream swears by the Limited, and he knows engines.

Downside is supposedly harder installation.

Yep, but once you know the tricks it's not so bad.

Hey Demolition I had to do the following things to get my limited chamber to fit right, but you may have an easier time than I did.

1. Partially grind down the ribs that the pipe rubs against.
2. Partially grind down the edge of the cases near the motor mount that the pipe sits directly above.
3. Glue 3 square pieces of turf together and put underneath the water box to lift the stinger end of the pipe up about an inch which in turns raises the whole pipe up and ensures proper clearance between the pipe and the cases.

**Also for some reason there are different FP Installation directions for different bpipes. My directions said to put the exhaust manifold on first, then put the chamber in, and then put the headpipe in. My buddy was installing his bpipe at the same time I was and his said to put the exhaust manifold on first, then put the headpipe on, and then chamber in.

We found it MUCH easier to do it my way and put the chamber in before the headpipe. You can do it either way though.

**Also realize you have to remove the gas tank and battery box. There is no way around it so don't even try.

**Last but not least be sure to mount the chamber and heapipe together on the coupler the night before to loosen up the coupler and then when installing it be sure to use plenty of WINDEX. WINDEX makes it so much easier to put in.

Oh yeah I am very happy with the way my Limited Pipe hits on my limited setup, but I honestly believe if I put the mod pipe in I probably wouldn't notice a difference.

#0 just put a mod chamber in after running a limited chamber and he thought he noticed a slight bottom end loss on his setup, but his motor did end up blowing up at the end of the day so that might have had something to do with it.

The fitments of the Limited pipe in the square must be different than the RN because mine went in easy once I removed the tank. No hull or motor grinding.

The limited pipe will give you a bit more bottom end on a stock or ported engine.

Chucky has a modified limited pipe that's top secret he uses on his skis. :sneaky:

Hey Chris does that chamber have a "water jacketed" stinger to cool the stinger, but keep the actual exhaust dry?

Yep! That's top secret...Not now!!! But just what you see isn't the whole package, and too bad Dan and Chris both don't have the secret package :cool2:
Mod chambers are for very high compression engine set-up (work the best) matched with aggressive port mapping and must tune the pump to match to give a little stall speed to the prop is always a big benefit when running the mod chamber.

Dang...they are back-ordering parts again. Here we go with more $1,000 FP pipes on eBay :Banane01:

when is someone gonna come out with a pipe better than the b pipe with better service than factory pipe
Don't know who is willing to tool up to "try" and build a better mouse trap. Ross pretty much hit it out the ball park 12 years ago and the proof is in it demand even today.

I will agree that Factory Pipe sucks at keeping a solid inventory...but their lifetime service on their pipes is great!
