Back Carb always covered in fuel after ride

I've done some searching and about the only think I've come up with is possibly I have a broken reed.

Dual Mukini 44 Carbs. On a ported 760 62T engine. Overall the ski runs perfect until the nose is up high for about 15 seconds. Then it starts to load up but always cleans back out. Both Carbs are set the same do not have any dead spots under normal riding. I've leaned them out as much as I feel safe with (plugs are burning good).

Every time I pull my hood though the back carb always has that nice fuel cream covering it. Any one else had this issue before?

I have had that happen, the reed cage was dangling by one bolt and was rattling around, cylinder was not getting correct air/fuel ratio and gunked up everything back up to carb and piston. I didnt notice it, seemed ok until it was becoming hard to start. I was lucky it didnt fall all the way off into crank, i was 10 miles away from my beach launching spot.

guess i'll pull it off and check it out. I always hate pulling those parts when it still runs fine.

Im the same way but there is a reason the fuel is there, so something is up. 2 strokes are tough engines they will run even when they are broken. i had rode a full 3 hr session with that reed cage dangling around and still ran great.

I pulled the reeds today and they look perfect. The back cylinder defiantly had more fuel that has gone through it.
What in the carbs could do this? I rebuilt them at the start of this year because of this same issue. It never changed obliviously.

I currently have this same issue with a single carb. Odd thing is it started all of a sudden. She is also flooding in the mid range so I think the pop off is all of a sudden too low...

Does yours only do it with the nose up too? You thinking if the pop off is not right the added pressure from the fuel take is pushing past it?

Does fuel dribble out of your carbs at idle, or if you open the throttle and let off to idle again, does fuel dribble out as the RPMs come back down...?

there is a little bit that comes out of both after full throttle and letting off. not a whole lot but you can see it. It does this on both carbs.

i put new shafts and seals in when I rebuilt them. The gas is coming from the air cleaner and dribbles down the whole carb.

one more thing. Just turned the high needles all the way in and it still is running just fine. Anyone have input on what size jets should be in a ported 760 engine. Dual 44's. Seems to run just fine. Plugs are still a little wet. I have an Advent CDI though that seems to fire the plugs pretty hot. Maybe I just have too much fuel and the added pressure on the exhaust does not let the motor keep cleaned out.

I checked my reeds and they are perfect, and replaced the oring on the seat. So I am leaning toward pop-off.
