Super Jet Backflip SJ RN with stock Hull

Hey you guys so I have been riding a slightly modded old Kawi 550 but I want more , So I'm looking into getting an older Rn SJ but I'm just wondering what kind of power I'm going to need to flip it with a stock hull, but Im also interested in if anyone knows someone who could make me a short backflip hull for cheap, I already looked into the rickters, eme, bob they're all just too expensive . Thanks all info is appreciated Oh and btw I'm looking to do flat water backs.

Your not back flipping without money. Especially flat water on a SJ. Buy a superjet and get better at riding. And build the superjet and when your able to afford a aftermarket hull then swap it over.

Yah I know I was just wondering what I'd have to put into a stock hull to flip

A big motor, a mag pump, big carbs, and total loss.

it, and if anyone makes their own hulls.

Yes, but every one of them will tell you that it isn't cheaper than just paying for an aftermarket hull.

If you want to flip a stockish Superjet, just go to the ocean with it. Or line up two wakeboard boats for a v-wake.

Chop a few inches off the back, rocker the nose. 800cc at least as stated, set back mag and trim, even with that setup it is hard. I can get my superjet upside down. With a 718 and mag pump. But to get the rest of the rotation, it would take a lot. If your going from a 550 to an SJ this late in the year, save over the winter for a hull, you wont be flipping a stock sj this season. Unless your Chuck Norris

Thanks for all the help you guys , its just im a 16 year old HS student barely make 1000 a month with over 300 in expenses , on top of that i just had to have my top end rebuilt on my 550 cause ive never rebult a jet ski motor, so im going to have to start saving for a Hull, btw what hull would you guys say is the best for flatwater freestyle?

Ton of options. Bob has a nice glass hull for $4000 plus freight. Its about 65lbs i think. Footrockets glass hull.is a tad heavier for about $5500. You may get lucky and find a good used one over the winter. Honestly on your income, id start researching fiberglass work on here. Lighten your ski up and cut it up like i said. Make it a winter project.

I'm running a -2" '08 superjet hull, DASA 850 PV with MSD enhancer, Power Factor pipe and trim... it backflips like a madman in surf... flat water... well, I can 5/8 - 3/4 them all day off my own setup, but cannot get all the way around. I think a mag pump and TL would help... an AM hull would prbly really help...

But read my list of mods... you need to spend a bunch for flat water BF's - there's nothing cheap about it. Get a RN SJ and have fun... save for the mods you want.

You do realize that by buying a flatwater hull, you are looking at spending about $10,000 total to get the rest of the parts and get it on the water.

Just look on here and buy a nice RN SJ with some good mods, like a b pipe and footholds that is modded out for freestyle for about $4500, you'll have a blast on it...and will be able to barrel rolls all day long, anything but the backflip...but imho

Forget the stupid backflip...especially on flatwater, waste of time and $ unless you want to go pro.
