Battery not charging?

I have a 2016 wdk rip and i have gone through 2 of the small batteries in 2 weeks, the second time I took it out it would constantly cut out on me, and then I killed it and the battery was dead when I tried to start it back up. so I disconnected the black and white Stop switch wires from the ebox, everything ran fine, no cutting out issues, ran it for the rest of my vacation week. Had to repair some stuff in the barn and needed my stop switch hooked back up. Left it plugged in for a week and went to start it and it was dead again. Could this faulty stop switch be the silent killer of my batteries?

Can I assume you are running lithium batteries? My understanding is that if you have a parasitic draw you can run the voltage down to a point where the battery is damaged and can't be recovered.

The obvious fix is to try and find the cause of the parasitic draw. I might add that it is good practice to detatch the negative cable from the battery during any period of storage to help preserve the battery (of any type) and on safety grounds.
