Been a long time since I've done a build thread on here. Always wanted one but was finally able to acquire a Carbon SF Circus. My DVX will remain my flatwater freestyle machine, so the plan is for this to be a backup ski / casual lake ripper and maybe a great lakes surf boat with a different ride plate. Picked this hull up from @zeski25 and it has exceeded my expectations. Paint is awesome and was sent with a bunch of extra hardware motor mounts etc. Also has an immaculate turf job! Freestyle Connection for the win!

HULL & BODY:
  • Carbon Circus Hull & Hood
  • RRP Billet Lightweight Pole w/Carbon Tubes cut to 14"
  • ADA Steering System
  • RRP Ninja Holds (Not Adjustable)
  • OEM Hood Latch & Thurst Front Hood Hook

ENGINE:
  • Yamaha 760cc w/Cylinder Porting (Will do case porting when it arrives)
  • Stock Electronics w/MSD Enhancer & Lightened Flywheel (Hopefully upgrade to Zeel System in the long run)
  • PFP Exhaust
  • Stock 44mm Carbs
  • PHP Intake w/VForce 3 Reed System

PUMP:
  • OEM 155
  • 6/12 Cutback prop per recommendation from multiple sources to start
  • XS Gen 1 Trim System
  • Stubby Cone

Enjoy the build and pics, will try to document as I go

Hey man, this build looks great. Looking at a shorter pole for my Trixstar, but 14"!?!? Is that standard to go that short?

For me, I like to be as "centered" on the ski as possible. But we kinda cheated here and went off the marks on the pole pad on the hood to gauge where to set. Will have a better idea when we get this thing on the water.

Sharp! I been looking for a way to keep water away from the carbs in my freak if it rolls over, if you have any ideas...I'm at 20" tube length on the Badass

Take a decent sized piece of turf and lay over carbs without your filters on…press down, cut out holes. Reinstall, then put your filters on and wrap. That’s what I’ve seen many do with that issue
