Beach Cart Transporting without a Truck Bed??

Hey,

For those of you without pickup trucks, how do yaw go about transporting your beach carts? Do you disassemble it every time or has anyone came up with some creative storage solutions. Just got a Jet Lift cart and i need a good way to transport it in my jeep.

I took the bolts out of the top of all four legs and put wire lock pins in so it could be torn down easily. @Eli760 made a reciever for his hitch hauler that works great to.

I used to pop the wheels and axle off of my old MMF tote and place it across the back seat of my large sedan (Aussie Ford Falcon). It was just a tad too long, so the handle poked out of the side window an inch or two. I now have a Factory Zero. I haven’t tried it, but I imagine it could sit across the back seat of at least a large sedan whilst being fully contained within the vehicle.

okay so that answers my question it could be carried horizontally behind the jet ski that is already on one of our hitch haulers. as soon as I get some extra time I will be drawing up some plans for some prototype units. I have been asked about building a apparatus to hold these behind the skis for quite some time now my problem is I do not know how many different types of beach dollies are out there and if they differ to the point where it will not work with a universal style pinch bracket to hold it horizontally. please forgive any grammatical errors or Miss Spelling's as I am using speech to text and my phone is not as intelligent as we would like it to be.

whitca,.
this is a cool design for that beach cart.. actually it's super simplistic and minimalistic and I like it . our issue is I need to make something that is universal so it's going to be a clamp style that holds it horizontally because the beach cart is not longer than the jet ski so we're okay there. thanks everybody for their input so far

Not to any scale, could have, just drew this out on a seperate page from a job I am bidding on!................ Basically the tote would just "rest on the angled supports, does not have to be angled, but would need a stop of some kind if 90 degree's of the vert tube to keep it from sliding back off. This area would need to be raised up a bit to give wheels some clearance from the ground possibly.

The concrete frame might exceed the tongue weight of your vehicle.

LOL, working on flooring bid. The "Concrete" is for areas that do not get a floor, but lets me measure for rubber base, tile base or just no base, but need to show that no work is happening in that area for me to bid on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just piggy backed off project when I drew that!
