Beach tote Wheels 8"x8" to suit 18x9.5x8

Hi Guys,

Trying to track down a supplier/manufacturer of the factory zero sized plastic wheels to suit 18x9.5-8" tyres!

I've found a couple of places but I wont be poopting right after they reem me!

im from australia, so hoping to find somewhere local, or a manfacturer that already ships here. but happy to see what you guys have to offer anywhere around the world.

i know its a bit much but hoping you guys can help out.

They are expensive everywhere from what I have found. Someone awhile back mentioned harbor freight has a similar sized wagon/wheel barrow tire that might work for like 1/10th the cost. Not sure you have those or something similar down under though.

I made enquiries years ago and Florida Sailcraft quoted me $35 each for their plastic rims. I figured I could source the tyres locally from a mower shop. I got lucky and scored an MMF/AC Racing tote for next to nothing on EBay. I've ended up with two of those and a Factory Zero. I only use two totes at a time so my need for spare rims went away. Would encourage you to have these rim/tyres as an absolute minimum. The stupid red wheelbarrow rim plus tyre combo from Bunnings you see on locally produced totes will have you busting your back and anus on any soft sand you encounter.

Same as above and I never did find a better rim at any price much less cheaper.

Here's a thread I started awhile back looking to put together a list of manufacturers but it seems there just aren't too many options.

All the HF and similar options get you into a rim with too much metal and weight for my taste. Maybe not so bad for strictly storage or shop use but corrosion and weight are deal breakers for me so I stick with the Florida Sailcraft Rims.

I snatched up a set of used rims a couple years ago just because they were available.

I might give those florida sailcraft wheels a shot, they are 1" narrower than the factory zero. but half the price of what I've seen them for!!!
Great input guys thank you.

still would love to find the 8x8 somewhere!

I would add that the Florida Sailcraft wheels are meant for a 1 inch (25.4mm) axle. I have not measured my Factory Zero wheels. There's a risk they may be 25mm. What are the circumstances surrounding your need for these?

@X2Kid thanks mate. I can make that work easily enough.
Im building a tote.
Hoping to maybe sell thwm if i can do it cheap enough and they gain interest!
Those florida sailcraft rims are also an inch narrower!
I think i might just spend the extra and get the right thing!

I would suggest you get on the OzFreeride site (on Facebook). There was a guy building totes in Victoria who was selling the rims fitted with the big flotation tyres separately. I've been hearing good things about the Tanzer Totes out of Queensland. Maybe worth checking out both these guys and seeing if they can partially or fully supply parts for you.

You order tiger tote wheels? I was planning on buying a new tiger tote till I saw how much they are charging for shipping. 260$?? When I bought mine from them before circa 2006 shipping was less then 100$
Bought wheels from Florida sailcraft
bought tires from tire dealer
