Bed mount jetski rack

What’s up everyone I’m wanting to build one of those mounts your see people have in the beds of their truck I was wondering if anyone had some advice and also if anyone has built something to load and unload your ski from the truck to a beach cart. Thanks In advance

That’s why I built mine . 2400 miles round trip. Don’t want to tow or find trailer parking.

First test of mine . 1/8” 1.5”x2” aluminum ramp was nice and light but bent so going to change to a steel ramp .

Not to change the subject, but I wonder if you can put one in the bed with an extra long Hitch Hauler to clear the lowered tailgate with the 2nd ski? Maybe too much leverage with a longer Hitch Hauler?? Any one ever do this?

I’ve seen hitchhaulers with 2 skis on them I think ezski even makes them but it’s a lot of weight for sure and even 1 ski way out like that is sketchy to me

I call Hitch Hauler and answer is too much leverage to extend it. But they say you can still get one in the bed and one on the hitch. He says, you take the tailgate off, put the ski in the bed way over to one side, then have the ski on the hitch facing so the ski in the bed's pump is over the tray on the one on the Hitch Hauler.
I can't wait to try it, I hate jacking with a trailer.
