That's a sweet motor. How much did the port and case work cost?

Thanks! One of my good friends really helped me out a lot on the porting and case work because i didnt expect to need a new crank. Being 17 and without a job it really set me back, so he did the porting for really cheap.

Although the flywheel cover looks black we put a little overspray on it to make the orange come out in the sun. (Hopefully this picture worked, using tapatalk)

looks good, what did you use for paint on the engine and pipe?

Didnt paint the pipe, just used a metal polish but it turned it a dark chrome.
Painted the motor with Vht high temp engine metallic burnt copper (sp402), a lot of clear coat and a self etching primer. The black parts are gloss black engine enamel and clear. The motor was blasted and prepped pretty well, but still did a lot of coats for a good finish.

That VHT burnt copper is getting around! Looks sharp! I like the black bed plates a lot, makes me want to do the same. Maybe after the season is over.

I copied you, sorry! Haha orange has always been my favorite color so after seeing your build I had to paint it this color. Thanks though!

Getting 205/207 for compression... Don't want to run race gas so I need the domes cut.

Your getting 205 and 207 with the 35cc domes? Might want to try a different compression gauge. You should be around 185 at sea level

Bore shouldnt effect it but I the porting might lower it.

For example I have a 62T/61x 83mm bore and ported by PHP with 35cc domes and im at 175 at sea level.
