Best $40 spent on my SXR, Pump Shoe Fill

I did the Pump Shoe fill this past week, and rode all weekend in buoys chasing other boats. I cannot get over how much this simple mod made a difference in the continual hookup of my stock boat. I'm using a stock plate and intake grate. I didn't notice any jet wash walking/cavitation while following directly behind other skis.

Spend the $40 and play with some marine epoxy!

you can full the entire show cavity with epoxy as well, no need for the blowsion stuffers. Personal preference, either way works well.

I can take some when I replace my steering cable next week. I have to remove the pump to do it. It's really simple, just filling two sections and finishing up with some silicone.

i run the skat trak pumpshoe, it is solid to start with and a little deeper on the leading edge.
