Best goggles to get?

I am wondering what everyone is using that wear goggles to ride. I have contacts and it's a battle when getting a face full of water to clear out my eyes and make sure my contacts stay in place. Bought a pair of jet tribe glasses and water does not divert around the goggles at all and still finds its way inside running through my eyes. Is there anything out there anti-fog/polarized that does a good job of at least directing water around you when taking a hit straight to the face?

Best I found was cheap tinted safety glasses. That way when you are 1 minute from the ramp and realize that it was never gonna work anyways, you can toss em in the drink and not feel bad.

Seriously, I've never found anything that works. Years ago, (20+ now) I spent the money and bought a set of the vented ones, (Smith or Oakley, IIRC) designed specifically for watercraft and they were horrible. They had drains but still took way too long to clear after stuffing your face. You'd already have them ripped off before they would clear so what was the point?

Back when I rode flatwater, I would get the $19 Ironman sunglasses from Walmart and use a floater strap. They don't divert the water but they clear so much faster that they are tolerable. Subs were hard on them. If I dove with them on, it would wipe them off my head about half the time, hence the floater strap, so I got in the habit of pulling them down around my neck first. Every once in awhile I'd blow a lens right out. That's when I switched to wearing one piece safety glasses.

I’d like to hear some opinions as well. My girlfriend wears contacts so I have to find her something that will work when she’s on the blaster.

Dont buy bombers, fall off at any sort of speed and they blow apart. Also never been able to recover a single pair in any sort of current.

I’ve been riding for 30 years and these are hands down the best i have found. They are not Polarized but darn close visually. The Espresso color is very relaxing on my eyes. The hydroshield coating works pretty darn well for riding. They also come with a stretchy head strap, so you can quickly swap out the ear stems. If you take a hard fall they will blow off your head. Which I actually kinda like. They protect your eyes on the first big hit then blow off. I put a small bright pink key chain float on them so they are easy to find floating. Each lense has a rubber seal to your eye socket (made for dusty work). The seals have reliefs in a few areas that drain water quickly. Get your face in the wind and they dry and clear pretty quick. Water spots quickly clean with 1 drop of dawn (no lotions) dish soap a finger rub and fresh water rinse. For salt riders carry a tiny bottle of soap and rinse with your drinking water for quick cleaning. For the price I ordered a case of them!

I got mine from local work place safety store. The add above doesn’t mention the included strap. So not sure if it is included on that particular set. Double check cause you want the strap.
