Custom/Hybrid Best steering set up on RRP cast pole?

Hey guys,

Looking for some input on steering systems. I'm about to get to where I need to buy my set up, and I'm curious what others are running. I know I want to run 50mm rise fatbars, so that narrows down options a bit. I'm also running in salt water, and I've heard mixed opinions on systems when run in salt..

So my main possibilities are as follows:
RRP fat bar system
Cold Fusion fat bar
Ada system

Just wanting some info from those who may have used some set ups. Thanks guys!

Can't go wrong with cold fusion. I've run that in salt for a couple years now and just put it on an rrp cast setup and still works like it's supposed to.

Just installed an ADA sealed bearing system on my cast RRP pole this week. Pretty nice piece that is a huge upgrade over the modified UMI that it replaced.

Been using this in saltwater for a while. Using a RRP cast pole which is good enough for now. May jump on the ovp and newer billet pole on another hull 'assembly'.

  • Blowsion billet steering with 1 1/8" clamp
  • 50mm Risers
No issues yet

ATP looks bling. Just put complete ( pole , mini, bars) w/ a 96-07 cable on my '13 sj.
Still fiddling getting it set-up. Moved the cable closer to nozzle but still not perfect.
Will try the ATP nozzle, heard positive things

I just got the sealed steering system without the fat bar.

I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any of these new systems so really it just comes down to what you prefer or can get a good deal on.

Yeah, it seems that way. I've been cutting a few corners to get it on the water, but I really don't wanna scrimp too much where it matters. I've thought about non fat bar set ups, but with my pole being on my hood, I think I'd end up with busted knuckles
