Best way to fix flame arrestor?

What's the best way to attach the cap back onto the filter?

I tried oil/gas resistant silicone and that lasted only one ride.


Was thinking about trying epoxy or 5200 next?

Toss it and buy a new one. How much are you saving when a frayed stainless wire drops down your intake? Been there, done that!
