Make sure you do a good job preping and use a good amount of epoxy. I riped a strap off with that method. I just put my last set on and I glassed acourn nuts welded to a fender washer. Im net dealing with a broken foot strap again I can tell you that.

^Thanks guys and I have searched this but dont want to drill into my tray to have them installed, which is why I asked what everyone else is using and the weld nuts look like the best choice, The "C" style MikeyB suggested look like the best best but I would like to run 4 per strap so may have to do some trimming on the sides of them or something to get them to fit..

X2. Don't be scared to drill into the tray. The $10 kit from Blowsion is worth it. It also makes for a super clean install turf wise. I didn't have to cut into my pretty turf job at all, I just drilled a hole the exact size needed and used plenty of epoxy and silicone. Those holds will never pull out or leak. And the whole process only takes 5 minutes ish. Easy.

I thought I heard of these ripping out? I have one of these kits hiding around here somewhere, it definitely seems like it would be easier to use.
