SX/SXi/SXi Pro Big Pin - Small Pin Questions

I have this motor for sale that belongs to a friend of mine.
I'm NOT in any way, shape, or form a "Kawi guy".

A user here asked me if it was big pin or small pin.
I don't know how to tell.

Can anyone here help me? I remember a thread about it from 2-3 years ago, but I can't find it.

Small pin has 10 intake bolts and 12 on big pin.

small big has better bottom end! big pin has better mid-top

Agreed with Hagan... 10 small, 12 big.. Small has better bottom end.. I still haven't ridden one with a big pin motor... I am happy with what I have for now, a small pin dual carb.. a pipe and I would be overly happy...

Ya so I read your original post and spaced over the link.. haha It s small pin out of I would guess an xi couch... Same motor that I have.. Kawi green head and all.. single pin dual carb..

Actually, I looked it over tonight and it is a small pin, but it IS a dual carb motor.

hahah I said single pin.. I guess thats how I roll at 3am.. was a LONG night.. but ya Seats.. That is the same motor that is in my sx...
