Biggest bildge pump used in a jetski...

Whats the biggest bildge pump someone has successfully used in a standup? I finished my build the other day and used a 1100 gph attwood. The only complaint was I had to get an adapter and a little silicone to make sure it did its job and didnt come off. It can also double as a fire hose if my buddies ski catches on fire, should get a video of how far it shoots out :lmao:

I have torn my ski apart for the last 2 winters and neither time I did a scupper, everytime I think about it I hear pros and cons and usually the cons outweigh the pros...

Not really debating how great suppers are, Im not not opposed to them but I am opposed to tearing all my stuff out and doing it again. Since I didnt think to do it while I had the ski defoam I may never do it and will likely just transplant all this in a rn at a later date when a hull stops costing as much as an entire ski... The good its dumps water instantly but what good is it if your motor wont start :) Had a buddy pop a hood twice last summer with hood straps and by the time he got back to his ski it was under water.... once in fresh once in the ocean. Both times a bildge would have been more helpful, he could have held it straight and at least got it to float on its own with the bidlge pumping it out. He had no bildge or scupper.

thats why i run a bilge pump. scuppers in the surf =sunk boats.

I installed 3 attwood 500 in my old ski (no scupper) to keep the amp draw lower than what the charging system could put out. I stayed away from the bigger ones since they were drawing more amps for same output, plus if you only have one and it goes there is no backup (unless you include the stock bilge), my current ski had 2 rules and a scupper

I have a Rulemate 1100 and a scupper. I kept the small bilge fitting so it shoots farther...lol. It is one very dry boat on the inside.

the 1100 pump i have work great, i can fill the ski to the hood and have it empty i minute or so. plus its small same size as my five hundred was (i used same mount). scuffers just seem like a lot of work, always leak and add weight

5200 on the base works fine. dual 500s here, she emptys quick, scuppers suck in surf and flat as well unless your a total sub fene
