Custom/Hybrid Bilge Pump Exit Loactions

Where are you guys putting the bilge pump exits on your new fancy aftermarket hulls....its a shame to drill in them, anybody ever install a check valve and put it under the bond line....would it work?

I think putting it in the tray is dumb....thats not exactly clean water coming out on to your turf

Mine is in the tray but angled out, almost never get bilge water in my tray

I have mine about smack in the middle height wise, and just forward of the firewall.
I have put them into the tray (through the firewall) in the past, and that was a big mistake. The bilge water can be oily and that really makes the tray slippery.
