Me too. They work better than any carbs I've ever had. They were jetted and tuned perfectly for my motor by Art. It was literally plug and play.

Thanks Art!

Yea, I have a single 44 BJ on my 61x and its amazing on how it runs. Art jetted it for me. I just took it out of the box and bolted it in. It seemed to be set up perfect. But if you do call him, make sure you have plenty of time, he will talk your ear off, But he is a great guy.

I just ordered some 44 BJ's for my ported 760 big bore and Art told me you can run 44's for 800cc engines even with stroker cranks...need 46's after that. Never got into needs for 48's though.
Stock to Limited motor 44mm
Ported motor to 800cc 46mm
Stroked and Ported 48mm

5mil Lamey, 85.5 flat tops, BlackJack 46s. I love mine! Ask BK if my BJs work or not. lol
BTW-A pair of 46s jetted for your setup=795.00 for BOTH carbs! (pricing as of 1 month ago)

Depends on other mods, too.
I run dual 46 BJ's on my Jetworks 754cc big bore. When I first had that built, the carbs were a bit too big considering I was running almost stock electronics, pump gas compression, and stock pump. I got a good deal on the 46's and chose to go with them anyways.
Now that I run total loss, higher compression, updated porting, and a mag pump, the 46's are just right for the setup. Or so Art says.

thanks guys, yeah im running stock bore/stroke 701, with porting by protec, hich comp girdled head (35cc domes) riva intake (honed to 48mm), mototossinari carbon reeds, b-pipe. mag pump, cut back 12-17 ss prop, MSD enhancer (not TL), also it's set up and running dual cooling.

On another note, am i right by thinking i can still use that riva (48mm) intake for my new 44/46?

44's or 46's?

for your setup, probably 44's... but just call Art. He'll tell you exactly what you need to do.

My riding buddy Geoff has dual BJ 44's on his ski, tank tuned by Art. That ski has some serious snap off the bottom, and keeps pulling forever.

Geoff and I have virtually identical engine/ski setups except for the engine intake setup. I have single BJ 46. His ski has waaaaaaay more mid and high end power.

We both have cylinder porting by Jetworks, bored/ported b pipe manifold and head pipes, mod chambers, same hooker impellers, pump cone... Now that I'm thinking of it, he is running custom cut 34cc domes, and I'm running 35cc domes. He has about 10lbs more compression than I do.

Find out which carbs you want, then contact the builder for them and ask.
If you're getting BJ's, I am pretty sure Art will tell you to run 44's.
However, he may also suggested his modified dual 38's.
