Blaster 1 motor options

Is there an extensive list of motor options for the B1 ?

Clearly some installations will be more straightforward, just looking for which couches to keep an eye on for an 1100 or 1200 conversion

well any yamaha based twin cylinder engine will bolt directly in.

otherwise rad dudes offer conversion plates to run either yamaha or kawasaki triple cylinder engines

Yamaha 1200 non power valve motors will fit, 1200 and 1300 with power valves and the big exhaust will not. ADA makes CNC adapter plates that allows you to bolt in a stock Yamaha 1200 without modifying anything except the exhaust and coupler. Plenty of builds like this have been done, mine included, and they are pretty much bullet proof with lots of power.

The kawi 1100/ the yami 1100/ and Yami 1200 are by far the easiest . The yami gp800 is a little more difficult '' which I have done'' and the Seadoo 951 is probly the hardest to do and has been done also . That pretty well covers it .

What squid said ^^ and a bit like the B1 1200 Build doc I sent you a few months back ;)

It totally depends on what you want your blaster for. I use my blaster for wave jumping only and like the weight savings of the twin motors over the triples. I went with a larger twin motor and I'm really happy with the outcome.

Sounds like you are on the right track with a triple then. A good friend of mine built one a couple years ago and it was a fun ski, fast and lots of power!

What needs to be done for the 98 1100cc swap in regards to electrical, prop and such? I Just bought a 93 waveblaster and it isn't running the greatest at full throttle.
