What ride plates do people recommend for the B1? To be used for thrashing around the bouys and wave jumping.

there are lots to choose from. I would say you are looking at two different situation. Alot of people use d cut ones for freestyle and jumping. Where as chasing buoys, you might be better off with jet dynamics, riva groovy, watercross of texas, others out there too. It seems like riva groovy is most wanted. I have jet dynamics- carves turn well and I have no problem jumping with the short one. tends to porpoise a little depending on your weight. Rad dudes has a carbon fiber one with hull extensions on it if you are looking to race. not necessarilly good for jumping. you'll get alot of opinions. here is also ocean pro and R&D. good luck finding a riva groovy. they do pop up but go quickly. My two sense since I just researched for myself. BTW, I went with jet dynamics long to stay glued for carving turns, and i will use the short jet dynamics if I plan to be jumping.

Like @billglass said, there's a lot of options. The best all-around plate I have run is the Riva groovy with the Pro-tec in a close 2nd and Ocean Pro after that. The JD is nice too, but broke loose too easy IMO. I just picked up a Watercross of Texas plate to try out. Just pick a couple up and see what works for you.
