Blaster I Need help, b pipe & bildge

Hi ,

I have a 1994 Blaster I with a stock 701 and a b-pipe ...

- Waterline routing with b pipe single cooling ?

- Should I put the bildge underneath the Battery box in the back compartment ? I have seen this on some blasters, or would you put it next to the driveshaft in the engine compartment ?

Thank you

put your pump next to the driveshaft , I tried the rear compartment but it wont remove all the water when its sitting still , if you dont have a bracket for the pump use 5200 to glue it to the hull after you roughen up the hull and pump with rough sandpaper or a dremmel tool and flaper disc , while your in there mount another pump on the other side of the driveshaft with a separate bilge outlet , 2 pumps never go out at the same time , one switch ,2 fuses ,2 pumps ,2 bilgeoutlets I also put a one way flapper drain on the rear transom ,cant remember where i got it though , anyways my hull is always dry . FWIW !

replace draibn plugs

I looked at those duck things in Havasu and they are great only problem I cant use them because the skis is sitting in the water over a week and they dont hold up sitting in the water for so long.....

not the duck bills, look at the first post pics. every one that has used these new items love them. they are suppose to no leak like duck bills.

scorn800 says they do not leak at all.

as far as the b- pipe if you have'nt done it yet, just set up the dual cooling, its easy to do and you won't have to mess with it again. search on this site for routing is the best bet.

i put my bilge pump under the battery tray, my buddy stuck his by the drive shaft. two things happened, the ear on the bilge bracket broke and the driveshaft ground a hole in the pump destroying it. then he had to almost pull the motor to get the old basket out, but i convinced him just to take a piece of thin starboard, rough it up on one side along with the hull under the battery box and 5200 it down. screw the basket down with a couple of stainless screws and your done.that way if the ear on the basket ever breaks you can just unscrew it from the starboard. hope this helps..
