Blaster blaster won't turn left

Just got a blaster off craigslist...all was good until trying to turn left. It stayed completely straight. Bars are straight when running straight and turns to the right are normal. We looked at the cable that runs to the nozzle and when the bars are turned to the left the cable bends and moves to the right and hits part of the hull. Is there an adjustment to fix this or a replacment needed?

Have seen this before. You definitely have a broken outer cable . It will turn right no problem because the inner cable is being stretched, but when you turn left, the inner cable compresses and is force out of the broken outer cable. Follow your cable from the helm to the pump, somewhere along there you will find the split.

The reinforcement inside the cable is broken. Same thing happened to my SJ (bought in Florida as well). Salt water gets into the cable and rusts out the steel.

Happened to me on a BR attempt. Needless to say I didn't land that one.

Your problem is a broken cable like what bruce said.. the only reason you have steering to the right is because steering to the right your pushing on the cable where its broken into each other. So that will give you steering to the right only. When you get on it the pressure going through the pump will straighten the steering out. Steering to the left your pulling on the cable so if broke it wont steer to the left.
