Octane Blowing apart b-pipe couplers

Ive got an 04 octane with some minor mods, my problem is I keep blowing apart the exhaust couplers between the cast manifold and the expansion camber? Its the factory b-pipe that cameon the octanes and it rips wide open in between the hose clamps while riding any ideas on the cause? Its the third time they have tore apart!

Chances are you either have the pipe tuned too hot or you are not aligning the chamber and headpipe correctly.

make sure you have the right clamps. dont make them to tight . correct cooling it should not rip. same one on my boat 4 years 1000 or so hours

I'm still using the stock clamps as far as tuning the pipe its set on the stock settings, does anybody know what the two adjusters are to be set at? how are the head pipe and the expansion chamber supposed to be aligned? any help thanks nate

Look on factory pipe's website. They have the instructions posted there.

I adjusted the screws and that fixed the problem!
